I live in the Charente, in SW France, where I’ve been since the end of 2012. Marketing and Communication has been my life for nearly 25 years – 14 of those working in the Marketing and Communications department of a global company in the UK, then as a freelance writer and marketing coach here in France.
Since moving here, I’ve been involved in several marketing projects with clients, from writing about the French way of life for an expat blog, to writing a monthly column in an expat magazine. I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with clients both here and in the UK on a variety of businesses, including a pool care company, a psychotherapist, a published author, a well-being retreat, a dog sitting business, a garden centre and several handmade businesses and artists, to name a few.
And I have given talks online about marketing and storytelling to groups of artists and small businesses.
I love what I do; it gives me such genuine pleasure to help my clients grow their businesses, helping them identify their right audience and where they hang out, and how to be there with consistent, engaging content.. and the most rewarding part is seeing a small business grow in confidence as they learn to take the reins of their marketing.
